A Virtual Tour
back home from the Smithsonian
Craft Show...
the Maine Pottery
Tour Weekend is now past...
Time for the opening of the gallery
and getting ready for, most likely, my
last summer here at my home and
studio...
I hope to make it a good one!
Following is a sort of "Virtual Tour",
something I learned from the realtors...
These are snapshots, not excellent
photos, of the gallery and some of the work offered here at Bog Pond Pottery...
I hope it might entice you to come by, take a look around and perhaps
support my efforts toward moving and continuing to make pots...
I have been doing this for 40 years...
not much chance of stopping now,
just as I've hit my stride, finally making pieces I saw as a kid, but didn't have the knowledge and wherewithal to make...
time is change and vice versa... one never knows what the future might bring...
here in this room are many objects which have captured moments of time and exposure to fire...
fire, time and clay, all together, spoken of quietly and with some very magical energy...
worthy of a view... don't you think?
