Cups

Cups waiting for interior trimming and sanding
these are used primarily for whiskey, but other drinks as well
initially people crack jokes about the size, being drunk and etc...
yet, they are very similar in size to common cut  glasses used for whiskey...
they are not to be filled, but rather only 1/4 or so filled if that,
one then gets the "nose" or smell of the whiskey
before even taking a sip...
the ash runs, crystals and glassification from the firing also
contribute to the visual environment inside the cup...
sparkling back and dancing with the amber liquid...
it becomes a universe to become visually lost in...
the outsides offer landing places for the fingers and the eyes
most especially when sitting before a warm fire
on a snowy night, in the middle of winter...
of course they always look and feel even better
during the second round!
