Spring 2
this is my favorite image from the last snow
hopefully, last may finally carry it's intended meaning
I'm feeling that spring is finally here
the robins, junkos and flickers have arrived
but most importantly, an old maple lining the drive
sports huge piles of wood chips from new nesting holes...
the pileated woodpeckers always get busy once the change has occurred
tomorrow I'll move my bed back to the sun porch,
let my body begin to open to the warmth
and say good bye to the long winter...

Hive Shaped Geyser Pot w/ Mineral Encrustation
Hive Shaped Geyser Pot w/ Mineral Encrustation
19in.H x 10in.W
Hybrid / Wood Fired, then 03
$2,500
this may be the most raw, naturalistic surface I have found to date... and the high point of my crackling experiments... I haven't tired of the nuance and mystery of this ever varying surface... the longer one looks the more becomes visible...
