The Raku Years...2 Layered Raku Box
from time to time I'm going to post some images of the Raku years...
I'm hoping to create some perspective and also allow some younger potters to know of my past...
I've been through a number of changes in styles and emphasis over the years, both to keep my mind active and involved and to make use of different facilities I developed over time...
also I'm hoping this might clarify a passage from this type of work into the raw lava wood fired work of today... the wood fired work employs all the skills exhibited in this photo and more...
just used in an entirely different context...
