a surprise... something unexpected...
a bit more heat and a far different result than
I had anticipated,
the color is difficult to describe, yet very enticing...
I'll be looking at this a while
the many faces of rutile...
Refired Turquoise Bottle
when experimenting with newer techniques
there are always questions
is this interesting enough, rough enough
quirky enough...
so I refired the seemingly popular turquoise bottle,
feeling confident in repeating that result
and then got this planetary marvel...
a chance worth having taken
a landscape I find
much more varied and interesting...
