this piece remains the most unusual of all the lower fired earthenware pieces
the surface color looks exactly like an old penny
I have repeatedly tried to reproduce it, but have not come close...
it remains a good reminder of the importance of experimentation over reproduction
magic happens when it does and only returns when you search for a different form of it...
