Serving Bowl...From My Cabinet...
Serving Bowl
3.5in.H x 10in.W
Wood Fired Stoneware
Tenmoku Interior
SOLD
I've kept a number of pieces over the years
thinking they'd be for my son and his future
current times have me now trying to sell them...
each was kept in my dining room cabinet to remind me
I was competent, despite thoughts of others as my work changed...
each reminded me of something special or unusual that came from the kiln firing...
something I hadn't expected...
couldn't have planned for or anticipated
like the virus...and it's effects upon all studio crafts people trying to survive
and live from their work and gallery now...
survival in the time of coronavirus...
I wish everyone well as we find our way through this time...
and I ask the world to remember how empty it would seem
without the efforts of the many outstanding self employed artists of all kinds in the world
when the proper time comes, they/we will need support and assistance too...
