Studio Table
still pushing through the plates, cups and bowls for survival island
loading more today after a 2 day firing break
the timers and clocks were getting to me...
I saved a few cups and hip tumblers
to give them the best of what I've learned so far...
it will be interesting to see if they prove to be any easier...

Surprises...
during the prep and set up for another firing
of plates and bowls I sat down a bit and just stared at this bowl's surface
I couldn't convince myself that it wasn't beautiful
in an old way, a simple, unadorned rustic type of way...
the decoration has stopped for a day to consider the idea
sometimes the moments between the work
offer many surprises...
am I really liking it or am I not wanting to fire everything
so many more times????
maybe I'll be soaking the shells and wadding back off...
