Back Yard...
The back yard of my winter sublet in Lincolnville Center...
after settling in, resting a bit and getting my bearings,
the search for a new home/studio will continue...wish me luck...

Lava Pot
20.5in.H x 10.5in.W
Wood Fired Stoneware
this piece was found in the upstairs of the barn...I honestly don't remember making it, which surprises me because it is so heavy I wonder how I carried it to the kiln...buried in a box beneath others and inhabited by various critters over the years... a little excavation was required...but I have a new treasure here to pack away in a new box and give it a new life someday...
Getting Boxed In...
haven't even started in the gallery...
it's an odd experience to be moving
but not knowing where to yet
anyone have any ideas?

Thermal Vent Fragment
Thermal Vent Fragment
22in.H x 14in.W
Wood Fired Stoneware
$6,000
I found this piece buried in the garage under a lot of strange things...
Wyatt's old john deer tractor from his childhood...a few old inner tubes to patch things with
and some other random debris of 22 years of living somewhere...
when it was made I was thrilled with it...I took it to a few shows and no one even mentioned it...
and so it just stayed put...left after unloading in the snow after a long ride home... now it's seen again
and I love it...there's no accounting for my taste, but I think this is a fascinating piece...
