underpainting on a new size...these are 48in. x 48in. and are being referred to as the squares...

I want to work on several pieces at a time, so I can move from one to another as the layers dry.

this is the beginning of the piece I'm working on now in my mini "studio apartment"

limited by the room it is a smaller scale for me......41in.H x 36 inW

many more layers of crust and growth to go but it's a start and 

I'm liking it and liking being able to work after a very long and troubled year...

wish me luck on this...I'm very hopeful but as someone once said

"the only pain for an artist worse than not working is working"
