Fiddleheads...
I am embarrassed to say that I've been in Maine a good while
but never had fiddle heads...
My friend Barbara changed that a few days ago with a nice bag of them...
I've had them plain, in salad with a vinaigrette, stir-fried with rice and other vegetables
and today the last amount finely chopped in an omelette, with a spoon of yoghurt...
served here on a small Shino lunch plate...
they were delicious each way and a wonderful treat...
