Snow Showers

over the weekend the weather changed, as northern winds
brought the temperatures down to the 30's...
the weekend here was family,
as Wyatt and I enjoyed the company of his Aunt Valerie and Uncle Jef
many laughs and games... he was very happy
after a morning of log hauling, back to the studio and a day of glaze mixing...
though barely visible here
the forecast snow showers have arrived
first of the season... the winter is pressing in
slowly... but it's on it's way...

Dusk

dusk last night...
the family has survived thus far
I try to let them know they are safe here
most especially at this time of year,
though there are few apples for them as the crop
was very poor
so many generations of this line have grown up here
it has been a pleasure to watch them...
