a side benefit of a 13 year old son...
we watch these programs together and
he loves all of them, especially those related to space exploration

Monkshood

the monkshood came this morning
they are the last to open, usually standing tall and proud against
the cold and the colors of fall, often with a lightly frosted coating in the morning...
yesterday, it was 88 degrees at Wyatt's soccer match in Augusta

this one is taking some time
but so far, I'm liking the result...
still need to apply the eaten away worm holes
and deal with the interior...
some pieces seem never to end...

don't know... it needs another firing...
