though the wood kiln has been quiet this year due to hernia surgery
and groin problems, the pots from it are still here in the gallery and in my home... I continue to consider them extremely beautiful and will be back to making them soon... it's the picking up and carrying them that's the problem... this Large Oval Bowl
is a perfect example of the geode idea begun years back... the wood ash runs pool to form an ash jewel on the side and create a wonderful contrast with the lava like outside...I've been looking at this in the living room for a few years now and still see things I was unaware of...
imagine that!
